Plan: This is a relaxing drive to explore scenic views varying from red sand deserts to mountains. We will start the drive from Rashidiya – Umm Al Quwain and explore the Falaj Al Mualla desert. In this section we will use the same track we used for the very first Ceylon off roaders desert rally. Then we will cross the road near Adhen village and start the mountain drive from Al Ghail. Near Al Ghail you can see a unique landscape where the desert meets mountains and how the landscape is changing. Then we will continue our drive through Wadi Maidaq and finish the drive near Masafi Friday Market. Throughout the drive we will use only farm tracks, and occasionally we may cut the dunes if tracks are not available.

Preparation:

• ⁠Please bring plenty of water or electrolyte to stay hydrated at all times, snack to enjoy

During breaks.

• Ensure your 4x4 vehicle is equipped with front and rear recovery points.

• Thoroughly check your vehicle, especially coolant and oil levels.

• Fill up your tank before reaching the deflation point.

• Bring a walkie-talkie/radio and safety flag.

• Wear seatbelts at all times.

• Bring basic off -road equipment like a tire deflator, pressure gauge, recovery rope, etc.

• Follow the lead car and maintain convoy positions.
